Casella and Berger's statistical inference is god-tier for statistics theory. But maybe at a higher/more theoretical level than what you're looking for.

There's actually a badass book available free online called A Course in Statistics with R that should cover everything in OP book.

Mate look it up and if there's anything you don't understand there's probably a good explanation on Wikipedia. Wiki actually has a lot of very dedicated statisticians editing their articles.
