i dont get it. you can only use primes? then there is no way to complete the puzzle

Not him but...
The instructions are pretty vague here.
And why are some lines thicker?
What's the significance of the numbered cells (aside from the third clue)?

Mostly though, your solution doesn't satisfy any interpretation of "all the answers are prime".
Most of the columns and rows don't sum to a prime, the numbers you used aren't all primes, summing 8 and 9 down doesn't give a prime.
>>

Have you never done a crossword before?
The little numbers mark the start of the "word". The thick lines mark the end.

Each "word" is a prime number.
>>
>>9155828
>Have you never done a crossword before?
Crosswords have individual clues, this does not.
Maybe I'm just a little pedantic, but the instructions here seem really awful.
I can infer that each cell is a single digit, but it never actually says that.
And how can you justify the title "prime sums"?
Almost none of the sums (in any of several senses) are primes.
>>
>>9155828
>Have you never done a crossword before?
Also... Crosswords don't look like that. They never butt one answer up next to another.
Call me an autist, but this seems like a really poorly constructed puzzle.

24 minutes of programming later, the only two solutions are:
1 6 3 6 4 1 7 9 6 7 3 1 7 3 7 3
7 6 1 2 4 1 9 7 6 7 3 1 1 3 7 9

Here you go:
Across.
1. A Prime number
5. A Prime number
6. A Prime number
7. A Prime number
9. A Prime number
10. A Prime number

Down.
2. A Prime number
3. A Prime number
4. A Prime number
5. A Prime number
8. A Prime number
9. A Prime number. Reverse of 8-Down.

>All of the entries are prime
>The sums of each row and column are given outside the grid
>No digit is repeated in any row or column
16 = 2 + 3 + 5 + 7 = 17
I can't make the sum any smaller, because I need 4 primes, and these are the smallest 4 primes. I guess I need to stop adding at the wall? So I need 3 primes that sum to 16. 1 + 2 +13 doesn't work because 1 is not prime, and 13 already has dibs on 1 (1 + 2 + 13 is the only candidate that involves 13). 2 + 3 + 11 doesn't work because 1 is repeated. 2 + 7 + 7 doesn't work because 7 is repeated (and 2 + 7 + 7 is the only candidate involving 7) And there are no candidates involving primes 5 and below, because the sum can be no larger than 15. So, you can't solve the puzzle by assuming that you stop adding when you hit the wall.
This puzzle is bullshit.. 1 + 2 +13 doesn't work because 1 is not prime, and 13 already has dibs on 1 (1 + 2 + 13 is the only candidate that involves 13). 2 + 3 + 11 doesn't work because 1 is repeated. 2 + 7 + 7 doesn't work because 7 is repeated (and 2 + 7 + 7 is the only candidate involving 7) And there are no candidates involving primes 5 or less because the sum can be no larger than 15. So we can't solve the puzzle by assuming you stop adding at the wall, and you can't solve the puzzle by adding all four of the cells.
This puzzle is completely bullshit.

no, wait, i just realized that negative integers could be considered prime
>>
I don't understand, do I have to stop counting at thicker walls? ie 16 is "1" + "2" + "3", and 20 is "10" and the two other boxes on the right?

this is the equivelant of reading the facebook comments of a 1+1*2 "puzzle"

i have the most peculiar urge to fill the grid with neins, is anyone else experiencing this?

Come on guys.

1a. 761, prime
2a. 61, prime, 2d. 61, prime
3a. 1, prime, 3d. 19, prime
4d. 271, prime
5a. 41, prime, 5d. 461, prime
6a. 97, prime
7a. 67, prime, 7d. 61, prime
8d. 73, prime
9a. 31, prime, 9d. 37, prime
10a. 379, prime.

All the answers are prime. It doesnt mean all the factors are prime.
>>
>>9155915
>do I have to stop counting at thicker walls
No. The sums are sums of the entire row or column.
The thick walls just define the across/down hints.
ie 1 across is three squares, there is no 1 down because it is blocked
