Kinda stupid testing my ability to solve novel problems with shapes and patterns. There's many more scenarios of novel problems besides shapes that you can use your fluid intelligence in, and naturally some of these problems you'll be better in and some you'll be shit in. It's quite unfair to judge someone's intelligence in all scenarios based on their one attempt with predicting obscure patterns.

The entire point is for it to be a task you aren't familiar with. IQ tests are looking at your ability to solve problems youve never delt with before, not how good you are at anything in particular.
