Are there any scientific benefit of cardio versus lifting?
/fit/ is too autistic and low IQ to give a meaningful answer.
Cardio burns calories faster
I apologize that this isn't first post
>Cardio
Good for: heart, brainfog, depression/anxiety, neuroplasticity
>lifting
Good for: insurcurities and arms/legs
Bad for: heart
Cardio is for if you want to be thin and healthy. Weight lifting is if you want to be muscular and healthy. Both for otter mode. Neither for jabba-the-hutt mode

cardio is better at making you good at cardio
sounds obvious as shit but moving oxygen around your body is pretty important
they aren't mutually exclusive, you probably should do some sort of cardio no matter what your lifting program is
also iirc literally ONLY doing distance running and nothing else is actually bad for you, and you need some muscle to do well in the other ranges, so you can't just not strength train and hope your "speed" (whatever that means) carries you
>Not doing both
>versus
You should do both, cardio makes you better at lifting and lifting makes you better at cardio.
