Can you think of/know a way to make aniline from aniline derived dyes? Looking at some of them, aniline yellow (pic attached) seems like it might work with a decent yield. The dyes are available in my country while aniline itself not so much.

Why do you need aniline? Doubt you'll get enough from dyes to do anything useful.
I mean what's useful? Mainly i just want to do the reaction for the fun of it, and have a way to make aniline when I want to do something else with it, it's very versatile reagent.
Sodium dithionite or other reducing agent in water might do the work. But the reaction won't be clean and you will probably have to purify it to get your aniline.
