Is there any book on algebra that starts from the very very basics like
a+1=2
a=2
and ends on precalculus?

Brainlet here: I don't even study anything, I just find it interesting and don't remember shit from school since I didn't care.

Have to start somewhere.

just buy a cheap algebra textbook on amazon and then a calculus one. The connection should be made clear in your readings.
