maybe a p/sci/cologist can help me
is a constant fear of being called out for being incompetent (i.e. not do things properly and have to redo them or take a while to do them) the imposter syndrome?

another thing,
I am attracted to a really attractive woman, and a part of me tells me she likes me back, but I feel like she's too good for me
I still haven't approached her because of an embedded fear of rejection
thanks for the help and sorry for making this blog entry

>is a constant fear of being called out for being incompetent the imposter syndrome?

>I am attracted to a really attractive woman,
This is kind of redundant. I mean, if you've referred to her as an attractive woman, it's implicit that she's attractive relative to your perspective.

I know your feeling. My supervisor is a smart, well-disciplined black woman for whom everybody in the unit has lust (including me) but I am just a short, unattractive American Indian from Mexico with no money.

Imposter syndrome is just low self esteem applied to professional life, but you have it more generally judging by your second post
That said, your estimation of your attractiveness vs hers probably isn't unrealistic, but that's nearly always the case
