why are burgers so calculus centric? calculus is literally nothing here. algebra and geometry are 99% of math.
I find it pretty comical whenever brugers treat calculus as the end all be all of higher math just because it looks fancier and gets taught later in their retarded school system.
pic sorta related.

i hate thinker chads so much

Did you just finish high school or something?
>>9111022
fortunately they don't exist anymore, we can all thank the cucky way math is taught nowadays.

i hate calc
my school focuses on abstract algebra, combinatorics, etc
Actually, you dont even have to take anything past calc2 besides an intro to analysis class

sounds comfy. which uni/class? are you a CHAD THINKER by chance?
>>9111163
they're absolutely not dying, they're just not what they used to be by the looks of it.
>>9111006
What even is calculus? Is it analysis?
>>9111491
yeah I think that's it. never cared much for it either. it's pretty unelegant overall.

3rd year undergrad actually (well at least I think that would be the burger equivalent). calculus is just a pretty dull tool not worth studying in depth imo. why some people want it to have the same status as based algebra/geometry (which up until the 18th century WERE basically math) is beyond me. I mean at best it's geometry, and at worst some sort of make believe physicist continuity wet dream.

"recreational" learner here, did my undergrad in math and switched to business school, got an MBA.
I mainly study graph theory, number theory, synthetic geometry, abstract algebra, all the meme stuff. Feels good to be able to study whatever I want without rushing into things, actually taking the time to deepen my understanding, find my own methods of proof, etc.
