PHD exam (applied math) in 1 week, 5 subjects each 3.5 hours.
Based on empirical evidence, I came up with a model that uses neuronal firing patterns to model psychological stress. Basically, after an intense short period of stressing (neuron firing) the stress function enters a refractory period in which additional stimulus (more stress) would not trigger any further response.
I'll keep /sci/ posted if I made it.
Since when do PhDs have exams?
Learn other people's stuff in Bachelors. PhDs are creating your own stuff.

like every math program has qualifier exams. im taking some coming up next week, after a year of class. they are supposed to be hard as fuck and scare and traumatize. you get a few attempts, if you dont pass you dont write a dissertation. so you are done.
