im taking a placement exam monday morning for college maths. thing is its an "accuplacer" "smart" test. where basically the questions are on a tree and hold varying value and depending on how correct or flat out wrong you are determines the next question posed to you. i havent dont any algebra1 or geomentry type stuff in a couple years and im concerned that if i fuck up on a couple of those questions ill never be able to climb out of the retard corner of the test and get placed in remedial or something. what should i do? am i being paranoid or am i actually a retard.
tl;dr
> how do beat "smart" test
How confident are you in your math skills in general ? Math placements for incoming college freshman are a joke, and if you get placed in a lower level class your probably a brainlet.
Anyway most colleges will have practice tests available online or at the very least the list of topics that will be covered on the test.
