Don't give a shit what race he is, he's a celebrity rather than a scientist. He spreads scientific propaganda as if it's fact, and he does it in the same way religious preachers speak of the bible.
I like him; I'm all for simplifying science for the common masses so that they can understand it, or at least appreciate it. It brings in more people to scientific work. And seeing how modern America has taken a step backwards in that regard, it's all we can ask for. Forget competence, what we need now is interest
