>taking a test
>a question needs an obscure equation that was barely mentioned and discussed
WHY DO PROFESSORS DO THIS SHIT
The thing about exams is that they are always the same to everyone who are taking them. Therefore, when you get a low score, you can't cry "it's not fair! Stupid professor!". Instead you should admit that you are just shit and should git gud.
>needs an equation
>not understanding the subject clearly so you can derive that equation

This.
Once in 4th grade i had to derive the quantum harmonic oscillator, and i didn't complain.

Well, it's not that like that example is obscure in any way...

It was just one question, pretty sure I got everything else right, so fuck off

What subject OP, I understand some high levels stuff will inevitably require you to memorize little tricky forumlas, but I doubt this is the case.
I fucking hate exams where its pure memorization and the professor says "lol know everything" AND THEN CHOOSES THE MOST RANDOM QUESTIONS AND NOT QUESTIONS WITH TOPICS THAT WE SPENT MOST OF THE TIME LEARNING

What a fucking brainlet. You need an equation to be mentioned or discussed in class in order to know when to use it on an exam. Sub-180 IQ retard.

What a fucking brainlet. You need to use an equation to get the correct answer on an exam. Sub-360 IQ retard.

How do you derive an empirical relation?
