On a normal day, wear a t-shirt and jeans and sneakers. My PI lets me get away with wearing shorts in the summer when it's really hot, though it's not "lab attire". In the winter, wear sweatshirts and jackets -- I'm in the upper Midwestern United States and winters can get rough around here.

I'm not a virgin but that's pretty much what I look like.
I have a hunched back because I wasn't allowed a locker in high school and was forced to carry a duffel-bag with all my books in it.

I look down and avoid people because I'm aware 99% of the other people are uneducated assertive sophists that have a history of violence towards critical thinkers.

I walk past people because that's the point of walking... to get to your destination.

I'm polite because there is no purpose for rudeness other than to make more enemies than friends for the sake of ego, which only people with secret low self esteem do (classic overcompensation).

I wear gray, blue and black because those are urban colors. If you lived in an urban environment with lots of other people you'd understand it's easier to keep clean and that bright colors are only for people with histrionic personality disorder.

The only thing that's actually bad is walking with a hunch and looking down. Bad posture is bad for your back and looking down promotes bad posture.

You should try to stand up straight and look at the horizon when you walk. At first it well feel a bit unnatural but after like a month it will just be normal for you.

I generally walk fast because I'm a wageslave and subconsciously feel as though every single moment is waste. Even when I'm finally doing something I "want", there are many other things, my spectrum of choices is artificially narrowed and my every waking moment is therefore still highly controlled, and the feeling of division remains. I do not fall into solution. Also, I'm relatively light and used to be a sprinter, and be all around more active. As my body, and mind, continue to wither and atrophy, I will insert myself into my memories. Speed and efficiency between A and B feels good, it feels right. It is the path of least resistance and I have a body that not only allows, but biases me towards it.

Slouching must be viewed in context. It can indicate many things, fatigue and disappointment being one of them.

I either look at almost everyone, say hello / acknowledge their state and existence, or ignore everyone and operate only via memory and a small number of signals, stepping around people in a way that is neither courteous nor rude, there is no connection. I likely look blind or entirely absent.

Whether or not I change pace depends on my mood.
