Is there a way to rotate a line about some point like pic related in Matlab? I can't find anything that has worked, you guys are my last hope.

the first thing that came to my head was to have 2 rays come out from that point, one in the direction of the axis, and another in whatever direction you wish
i hope this helped, i don't use matlab very often

Construct the unit vector of the line containing the point whose starting point is the point. Rotate that vector using the rotation matrix. Then construct the line generated by the new vector and the point.
