Speed is the (scalar) magnitude of the (vector) velocity of a thing. 0-forms are not equal to 1-forms. Make whatever comparison you want: speed != velocity. And that's just those two.

Speed is a scalar quantity, velocity is a vector quantity. Momentum is a vector quantity, but it's definately not the same as speed or velocity (p=mv). Movement is the opposite of standing still.
