Can we ever find a link between relativistic physics and quantum physics?
Last night I found a link between my dick and your mother.

We can find it, among others, in Landau's relativistic quantum theory textbook.

>quantum Fourier transform
Never heard of it. Is it like decomposing functions into sums of cats in all possible ways simultaneously?
>>9013200
Why does this schizo shill his vixra-tier delusions all over here?

Now the schizo freak will get so mad he will threaten to kill you and your family.
>>9011755
My bet is that quantum physics is in the wrong side
>>9013915
Either general relativity is correct and qm needs a tweak or there is no solution
>>9013174
Thats only special relativity with quantum physics

I'm used to getting threats from schizos as i manage a research project. You would be surprised how many there are, especially among MSc students, despite it being quite limiting disease when it comes to academic achievements. Despite all those, my family members are still happily living their lives.

Well SR and QM have already been unified in QFT. As for GR, we can already create an effective field theory that can make predictions. The problem is it's not UV complete, so the energy scales we have to work with are about the same as the ones that GR works with, what that means is that while we can predict quantum corrections to GR, these corrections are of things like the perturbation in the perihelion of Mercury. Now the problem with that is probably obvious, Mercury is huge, quantum mechanics is tiny, so the resulting correction is going to incredibly small, and it is, off the top of my head it's on the order of [math] 10^{-90} [/math], which makes its impossible to observe.

You love them both, but their existence is the cause of your unhappiness in life?

Oh shit, an XKCD comic.

What, no love for non-commutative geometry in this thread? What about ads/cft? There's tons of "links" but at the moment none of them make the connection precise or fully rigorous
