When controlled sub-saharan blacks have lower rates of diabetes than American blacks. West African blacks don't suffer from bone related defects as much as East African blacks despite having little dairy in their diet.

Black males who have a particular west African gene are less likely to have high abdominal fat. But only the male sex as said gene is apparently absent in Black females.

Some forms of cancer are less prevalent in American blacks than Sub-saharan and vice versa (particularly depending on lifestyle habits).
