I will be graduating with a bachelors in pure math in a little less than a year.
Assuming I don't want to be a poor mathematician the rest of my life what's the quickest and most lucrative way to sell my soul to industry for money? Do I need a masters? Is MFE worth it?

Yeah I'm gonna be in the same boat and was wondering how it'd feel. Do you think going the statistic route may have been better? What about applied?

Open a private tutoring business near an asian community. I know a guy named Dr. Chang who got a phd in biochemistry from caltech. He makes 200k teaching high school studentsand college undergrads and only works 20 hrs a week.

OP here
Yeah stat or applied or both good. I don't think you could go wrong with either. I might go into operations research.
If you're good in math and want money why didn't you go into finance? If you're a smart guy why can't you figure this out for yourself?
