Hey /sci/. What do I do to get back into mathematics? The highest math classes I took were calc II and ODE's. I did fairly well but it's been a few years since I did them. I forgot a lot of essential shit and I don't even remember how to do some integrals. I also really want to get into linear algebra but would I ever be able to get into that on my own? Any tips or advice?

If you want math applicable to physics/computer science all you need is Diff EQ and Discrete Math. Don't do Analysis.... it's.... it's.... scary.... *shiver*

my uni doesn't do "pure" or "applied" math, they just let u do wahtever

Algebra1
Algebra 2
Waves (I want to take because EE will tie nicely with this)
Partial differential equations
Nonlinear dynamics and chaos
Real and functional analysis
Community engagement (this is teaching math to people which I think is a good opportunity to gain skills but i dont want to miss out on learning something else).

I get to pick 4 of these

My thoughts are alg1 and 2 because I like it, waves and then something else.
