Lab reports for my processor systems class were routinely 3k+ words, with like 30 diagrams.

Worst I had was a hardass who made us write 50 page reports and even graded our grammar. But that was only two or three times in an entire semester.

We got a B on a group project because one of my team members kept comma splicing.
