>relearning basic geometry
Am I just a brainlet or do most people find it this boring?
Depends what you mean by "basic". I find euclidean geometry really fun.

For compass/straightedge stuff try euclid the game. It's a fun way to learn that kind of stuff.

>>relearning basic geometry
Why? Skip to precalculus.
>>8870440
skip to differential geometry you brainlet
>>8870542
>not algebraic geometry
nice try, brainlet
>>8870440
It's love hate.
It's incredibly boring, but I'm a visual learner so having a rock solid understanding of geometry improves my other math skills when I try to visualize them.

Make it challenging. I wrote up my own axioms after translating the greek version of euclid's elements without a translator, as well as redefined what an angle is and a bunch of other primitives. I also counted, and copied all the definitions from all thirteen books.
I am going to do a text analysis of heath's translation next and then make dependency trees for the definitions.
Things are only as boring as you are.

I lost.
Geometry is my favorite area of math.
You're joking right? Geometry and trigonometry was the best. Arithmetic was for Jewish Muslim Fags.

why does she have 4 eyebrows
>tfw I can into calculus II but I can't into basic triangles
JUST
Geometry is the ultimate visual intelligence test.
Prove me wrong.

What the hell is there to "relearn"?
It is about 2 hours of work max, otherwise yes, you are a brainlet.
>>8870440
Learn vectors. It's a lot more fun, and it gives you a much more concise and powerful theory. If you want to have a lot of fun, learn linear algebra.
>>8872366
It is possible to get vectors/linear algebra from synthetic projective/affine geometry. However, there are some projective and affine planes which cannot be described by linear algebra.
