not memeing but why is global warming a bad thing? Warm climates are a lot easier to work with than cold ones. We can grow more food, we can sail through ice sheets for easier shipping, populate new areas, etc

its not, our kids will just evolve to live in higher co2 environments anyway thanks to natural selection

Infrastructure and established farms can't just pick up and move without serious economic repercussions.

Water levels will rise, quite abit of land will flood.
Larger storms are expected
And this is one people forget, in some parts the world will get colder, the reason Britain doesn't freeze is all the warm water being moved by global currents, warmer water can shift these currents and Britain would be a second Canada during the winter.
I heard it depends, global warming is actually good for some places like Michigan. Its bad for people in power though. So it depends.
You must not live in the south

wouldn't large parts of britain be underwater if all the ice melted, which will be a summer possibility

Eh, probably
The paragraph was more just to show how interesting the changes could be from rising global temperatures. For example, ocean acidification is a byproduct of our climate change, and normally you wouldn't be able to predict such events. What I'm worried about is all of these hidden changes that are gonna turn out to be major in decades or a century.
