What would /sci/ consider a more "difficult" subject, chemistry or physics?
chemistry is such an inexact science
tell me how i'm supposed to trust something that basically says
>lmao there's no way to prove that what you think is in the glass is actually what you made nigga

Physics is more rigorous and definitely requires a higher IQ than chemistry. Chemistry may be a little harder in a lot of decent schools just because of the sheer tedium and bullshitting involved.
(I'm in a physical chemistry program)

Depends on your state of mind.

Fuck me. That's bringing back nightmares of gen chem in high school...I wish I had all of the hours of my life devoted to dimensional analysis and sig figs back. It's almost as bad as having to go over fucking fractions at the beginning of every elementary school year.
It's like I fucking get it. I understand some people here might need this refresher, but please, can I go do something else? Can you not yell at me for not paying attention and reading ahead at the very least?

>people making decisions about which science is tougher based on how much mathematics you need to know
I mean, it'd be cool if we can all theorize, but chemists are at the mercy of what matter will do rather than what it might do.

I mean any thing becomes significantly difficult if you get deep into it
>>8833962
Chemistry, if only because of the massive variety of reagents you will be forced to use regularly to solve problems.

Physestry
Probably physics, just because of the maths requirements at higher levels
>>8833962
Objectively physics. All the biggest brains gravitate (heh) towards it for a reason.

Objectively looking physics is just another level
