What are the realistic applications of Stochasticism/Stochastic processes and other such forms of probability theory?
Queuing theory.

Change point detection is a big one.
It allows us to make decent predictions of systems that are either too complex or aren't sufficiently understood for deterministic models

So it is used for approximation essentially?

What sort of stochastic processes did he apply to his music exactly?
It is used in ecology and evolution to model things like mutations and random events that effect survival, etc

dynamics of biological systems, i've been working on stuff in mucous and lung dynamics and having stochastic processes is a pretty big part of model creation.

Could stochastic processes theoretically be applied in ways to warfare?
>>8805134
If you consider financial speculation to be a form of warfare, then they already are.
Prices in the financial market have been modelled as stochastic processes since the 1970s (and possibly earlier).

Change point detection is theoretical but also an application. It's about detecting changes in characteristics in reasonable time and seeking to minimize false alarms.
ex/ In an assembly line setting, we wish to know when something malfunctions and we experience a deviation from the mean. Sometimes it'll be occurring in such a small way that the damage will only be apparent over long time scales. CPD is about detecting this.
You can already imagine it has huge potential applications to biology and medicine as well.

I used it for modelling battery response to stochastic energy input from solar panels (i.e. weather effects).

Communication systems, modelling channels etc. Everything noise related. Use this shit every day
