Say I'm a brainlet that managed to forget most of algebra 2, and I'm trying to improve my math ACT scores.
Is pic related a good idea?
I'm 40 pages in first book and wondering if this is the most efficient way for me to prepare by June 10. I have a lot of time and I'm an effective reader.

>Is pic related a good idea?
no, it's a meme list
>>8779010
this list is questionable at best

>Stewart
Nope.
This is a better list OP

This one is a sane list.

>european high school students learn complex analysis and algebraic geometry
no.
>hurr america stupid and fat, hurrrr

Is Pre-Algebra even a thing?

>Say I'm a brainlet
Okay, your're a brainlet.

Ignore literally everyone in this thread. All of these images are aimed at people trying to study pure math at the university level, which is very different from what you're doing.
Just get an ordinary ACT review book, read that, and do a shit ton of problems. You could also read through whatever textbook you had when you took algebra 2, and also look at Khan Academy. For the ACT, all you need to do is teach yourself anything you were supposed to understand when you first learned it but didn't, and do a shit ton of problems until you can do it in your sleep.

ignore this poster, he's a shill and a brainlet

Sounds good, thanks for the reply.

>Is Pre-Algebra even a thing?
You need to be careful when adding numbers.

fucking sharelowiq shills

Precalc by Simmons has no 'solutions manual' ergo Axler's Precalc is much better.
Calc w/Analytic Geometry is like $300 and you can just learn that w/Spivak or standard used Stewart text.
Bjarne book is a pile of confusing shit much like his awful language
How to Solve it, and Book of Proof by Hammack are good. Concepts of Modern Math by Stewart is excellent it was a nightschool course he gave back in the 70s
If you want expertise in Linear Algebra you do Valneza's 'abstract' LA book, then you go on Jewtubes and look up the Harvard Abstract Algebra lectures that read from Artin's blue book.
After that you can get into Aluffi Chapter 0 and actually finish some of the numerous exercises

It was a joke, dumbass.
>>8779010
Wow, I want to do literally the exact same thing as you.
>>8779010
You're not going to get to the undergrad level in less than 3 months.

Not with that attitude
