I have an engineering question. If everyone started to eat the seeds from the food they ate (like apples) and they all flushed their seeds down the toilet along with dirt and flashlights (that are turned on) then would apple trees and other things start growing down there? The seeds would have dirt for nutrients, sunlight for photosynthesis, and there would be water down there already. Is there something about the sewer systems that prevent this from happening or did I just figure out a flaw in the system?

oh btw I just noticed that they wouldn't need flashlights if there were lights like there are in my picture. but since people wouldn't know if there are lights in their particular sewer putting in a flashlight might be a could precaution

Obviously not. Things like moss and can grow down there though.
