Is there any good reason to believe dark matter and dark energy exist?
Why are so many cosmologists and physicists cucked by their dark wives?

>dark matter
Lots:
>BAOs
>Rotation curves
>CMB powerspecturm
>Lambda-CDM
All pointing in the same direction.
>dark energy
I only know of:
>Lambda-CDM

>Is there any good reason to believe dark matter and dark energy exist?
No. Every astronomer and physicist just decided one day, for no reason at all, to pretend dark matter exists.
Occam's Razor. Dark Matter makes our existing models work extremely well. The only hiccup is that we can only indirectly observe it (note that that's not the same as being unable to observe it).
Alternatives to dark matter tend to require us to throw out our existing models for something new, even though these models still work very well at smaller scales.

trouble is, the "change the laws" argument does not and cannot account for excess gravitational lensing

The part about the bullet cluster provides a compelling argument for the existence of dark matter.

Doesn't Lambda-CDM presuppose the existence of dark matter and dark energy?
>>8777920
Yes. It's a model that uses both dark energy and dark matter, but it's predictions are closer to observation than a model without them (and even models with competing "types" of dark matter).

BAO, the CMB powerspectrum, SN-1a and the Integrated Sachs-Wolfe effect all lend credibility to dark energy.
Dark matter is doesn't exist. It is a theory held onto like some religion by cosmologists without any proof to explain why galaxies don't "fly off". They made up Dark Matter as to hold on to the Copernican principle rather than admit that their whole careers have been based on bullshit and lies.
It is ridiculous. So called scientists can't even answer why planets are spinning around, but they claim that they know everything about universe.
The less we know and observe, the more easy to believe in fantasy.

>CDM has never been tested other than rotation curves.
Please leave.

>No. Every cleric and priest just decided one day, for no reason at all, to pretend G-d exists.
>>8778120
Priests have a million reasons to lie about there being a god, dumbass.
>>8778080
>they claim that they know everything about universe.
nobody with a degree in anything science related has ever said this
>>8777889
Either admit your model is leaving something out or invent a physics meme. Why not just throw a random universal constant in your formula like every other physicist that failed to properly explain their lifes work?
