How hard is biology ?
Im studying commmunication science but I wanted to start a second degree.
I always loved nature and also wanted to be a teacher so I really want to do it.
Idk if I have to take it slowly like only 1 or 2 courses in my free time since I dont have/want a job while I continue doing full time in my priority degree)

what kind of biology
>>8754144
idk there is just one biology degree in my college
>>8754151
which is?

The hardest course will be Organic Chemistry. It is fairly hard. I found it harder than my calc 2 class. Maybe do some preliminary reading to see if you could stomach it. If you're really passionate, you can do it. Biology is a very fun and cool field.
if you want to be a high school teacher, then go for it. otherwise, there isn't much you can do with a bio bachelor's, so you'd better study so hard so you can get into med or grad school

You mean which college ?
University of Buenos Aires.
In the hard and natural sciences department there's lots of engineering degrees, maths, physics, biology, chemistry, atmospheric sciences, oceanography, paleontology, geology and computer science.

I meant what form of Biology.

I mean my main degree is still communication science I dont want to be a med or anything like that

idk its just called Biology I guess its all around
>>8754136
if memorization is your thing then you'd probably like it

The first 2 years are the same for all biologists. Just the core stem stuff like calc, general chem, maybe organic chem, maybe physics. Later on, you can specialize into molecular/biochem or ecology. Ecology has lots of stats involved so be prepared to work hard. Molecular/biochem is mostly memorization.

Don't make this a thing. Biology in itself is fairly useless if you don't couple it with something that has an application like chemistry, molecular biology, genetic engineering etc. That would take your focus of your main degree though so I don't see the point. Just watch National Geographic.

>I always loved nature
So just take some biology courses as your electives. Don't be a faggot. Biology is hard. And you have to do very well to go further because the only choices are grad school or med school. There are no "jobs" for a biologist. It's either a stepping stone or you go into research, getting paid pennies to die slowly in a lab.

I alredy said it wouldnt be my main degree
>majoring in communication "science"
you can only move up in the world with a Bio degree
