are chickens evolved from the T-Rex dinosaurs?
I just read about this and it's blowing my mind
I'm not sure which came first, the chicken or the dinosaur.

>I just read about this and it's blowing my mind
I knew about it when I was 7 years old buddy.
Chickens, like all birds, ARE dinosaurs.

so why don't chickens have arms or teeth then?
this reminds me of Platos featherless biped.

No, but birds do descend from dinosaurs.

hey buddy, ye i know, but of all dinosaurs that evolved into modern day species the evolution of T-Rex to Chicken is

Birds and Tyrannosaurs share a common dinosaur ancestor. T. rex became extinct with no known descendants at the end of the Cretaceous. (I hedge that slightly since it is always possible there was a small group of rex somewhere that had gotten isolated and become something else before the extinction took the down.)
Perhaps a more fun question is -- now that we know many theropods had feathers, is there any real reason to assume Archeopteryx is ancestral to birds? Sure, it is pretty birdlike, but all small theropods were fairly birdlike

Why don't you have a tail?

T-Rex went extinct 65 million years ago. The chicken evolved from smaller raptors.

>are chickens evolved from the T-Rex dinosaurs?
Chickens like all other birds evolved from dinosaurs not specifically T.Rex though.

That's just speculation and just because people keep repeating it doesn't make it true. There's no way a chicken would've hatched from a dinosaur egg. Heck, it's not even cold blooded.

>There's no way a chicken would've hatched from a dinosaur egg.
Evolution of that magnitude takes a few generations.

>Heck, it's not even cold blooded.
Neither were dinosaurs
