Yes , its actually not that rare for people to die from a single punch.
I cant say for sure that he died but that guy who tried to give him CPR is definitely retarded.

People dying after getting punched and hitting their head on a hard surface is not that difficult, but from a single direct punch is new for me...

Yes, also you may also live and get permanent brain damage, like not being able to move or talk normally ever again
T. work with neuro patients
It looked kinda like his neck snapped IMO, could that be the cause?

Can you get literally retarded after a punch? Serious question.
You know there is that stupid ass accident of giraffe nerves, that obviously weren't re-routed when evolution decided to make the neck long and now the neural connection can be cut on a million spots of a giraffes body and the transfer time is also shitty.

The humans body has some bad weaknesses too, and especially the fact that while the shoulder blades and skull cover a lot of neural transmissions, they are only shielded by far and weak muscles along the neck

Similarly, the muscles below your armpit are prone to rip when you throw a baseball and they are not warmed up. Stuff like this
Depends on how badly you were hurt and how well you recover. The brains plasticity, or ability to regenerate itself is remarkable, but some people get serious issues with speech and motor control. Physiotherapy can be very beneficial in recovery.
