This function generates even and odd numbers:
k=1/6((2*y+3)3^(x+1)-3)
But I want only the odd k's, how do I do that?

2k-1=1/3((2*y+3)3^(x+1)), couldn't this be applied

Find an expression for k that evaluates to 0 when k is odd, anything else when it's even, then multiply and divide rhs by that expression
