Why are engineers here treated better than Computer Scientists?
You guys understand that engineers are not scientists right?
Shame on all of you
>>8718231
>computer science
>science
>>8718231
Because engineering is even more tedious than CS.
>>8718231
Engineers are not scientists nor "computer scientists" are, but at least engineers don't lie by calling themselves scientists
>>8718231
most engineers are basically NEETs and flood the board, giving each other shoulder pats
>>8718231
>You guys understand that engineers are not scientists right?
Neither are computer 'scientists'
>Why are engineers here treated better than Computer Scientists?
Two reasons: Jea & lousy.
CS guys are building the future with algorithm research and machine learning while pure math guys, physicists and chemists shitpost on 4chan when they can't find a job. Many such cases. Sad!
>>8718231
But engineers do know science, unlike CS. CS is still important, though.

its called a BSCE for bachelors of science civil engineering. You're a moron.
Engineers are mad because CS majors spend half the time studying, but end up making more money. Many such cases. Sad!

'Member when this was considered fat?
>>8718673
I think that's a tough distinction to make. For example, computer scientists working on formal verification in quantum systems do need to know a good measure of science.

People in all walks of life are scientists. It's not what is studied, but one's curiosity to study (collect data) and learn (turn data into information).
>>8718241
CS is like math with out numbers
It's still a part of STEM
>>8718721
It still is
