I haven't hand checked any of the calculations made here but this is some pretty creepy shit desu

Anyone got a pair of calipers who feels like measuring it out?
I enjoy this shit.
But ya'll need to read Foucault's Pendulum by Umberto Eco. Great book, covers vast and intricate esoteric ground, and explains the dangers of certain facets of this kind of thinking.
But yes I just watched the whole thing and that is mega creepy.
I'm not convinced.

I think the accuracy is meant to be (on the cover-pic, not on the text-stuff) only as accurate as some guy with basic 17th-century stuff could measure - and then think what was meant to tell.
This is something, that autists can't understand..
There is absolutely no chance these approx numbers could be forcefully "made" to be there, the 99,???% accuracy ain't the point, but the fact - that there are people who knew about these sometimes way before the guys who "found" them later..
And next question is how much sooner have they known? 16th century? 15th? 4000BC?
More? 10000BC?
