I'm in my third year of a physics w/theoretical physics degree at a pretty decent UK university. Our first lecture this year in a module on 'Advanced classical physics' was an hour on vectors and the dot product and cross product.

There were still people in the class who didn't understand this shit. Made me seriously question the quality of my degree and the uni.

I'd just give it time. It sounds like you're still within your first two years of undergrad.

They cool thing about things like math and compsci is that as you go along, the more you can understand the more advanced stuff by yourself, so you can self study.

I'm an econ major and I haven't taken game theory yet, but I can still read the notation and evaluate the functions, so I just learn it on my own time
