Why are all wikipedia mathematics articles pseudointellectual circlejerks devoid of any real information?

They're meant for experts who need a refresher. They're incredibly useful if you're in the field. I'm a grad student myself and find it incredibly more convenient than digging through textbooks.

It works if you know what you're doing but forget something but it's terrible if you're trying to learn. Go find a textbook.

Once material is put in it's hard to get rid of unless it's actually wrong. People put in their pet material and it ends up staying there.
