It's up to you anons
I eat sugary foods all the time and haven't had any memory problems.

Interesting and could explain why Utah is number two in Alzheimer. Mormons don't drink alcohol or smoke tobacco. They don't even drink coffee. What they do a lot of is eat and drink sugar. Lots and lots of sugar.

>be vegan
>bulk at a caloric surplus
>85+% of calories are carbs
guess im going to be braindead soon

Link to the actual article instead of Faux News?
Wheat and dairy are probably the worst things to eat in excess.

If they bothered or cared to study science they'd figure out that fructose is a ketose. Ketose is alcohol. Aldoses, however, are aldehydes, as in alcohol de-hydrogen-ated (less H, no change in C means more O).
ALL the diseases alcoholics get are the same as those of a soda drinker (yummy, crystallized sugar that is 95% fructose--fat--and 5% glucose--brain food).

that's interesting because i bulk at a caloric deficit
>small n=20 cross-sectional analysis of Alzheimer's brains with undisclosed researcher degrees of freedom finds higher quantities of a single glycated protein, in vitro analysis of said protein found a glucose metabolite can similarly spontaneously glycate it and some theorycraft with astrocytes and microglia in vitro!
>therefore dietary consumption of sugar causes Alzheimer's disease!
Fucking retarded sensationalist pop sci journalism jumping to conclusions again. It might be enzymatically glycated by some upstream pathway that's malfunctioning, or clearance could be impaired by something else and have nothing to do with hyperglycemia, which isn't strictly caused by sugar consumption or observed in Alzheimer's patients anyway. It might be neutral or even have a protective effect in vivo or in vitro with other cells in different contexts. Or a million other possibilities when dealing with such an immensely complex biological system that need to be checked before causality is declared.

Does the research say when in life this consumption is linked with AD?
Early Mid or late life?
I absolutely gorged on white granulated sugar as a kid . Example; Dumping an inch thick layer onto a small mixing bowl filled with Captain Crunch itself virtually 90% sugar already ...
sprite, milky way bars, ice cream, all the typical snacks like devil dogs, scooter pies, ring dings, yodels and chips ahoy all in obscene excess
