why is it that comp sci degree holders have better job prospects than math/physics majors despite CS aka applied autism being much easier? Is it because of the jews?

Because you can't build a pretty phone app with Galois Theory.

Real talk. Because math and physics admit mostly people who couldn't cut it for engineering and people who didn't even participate in the olympiad but thought they can study physics/math. Idiots with delusion of grandeur. There are obviously really smart math and physics majors. But they don't go to second-rate universities. And they have less problem finding a job in industry if they want to. The rest are society rejects who likes to pretend they are smart because they study physics.

Is it because of the jews?
Yes.
>>8690913
Because we live in a digital and capitalistic society in which computers are integral for every field and their necessity will only grow whilst the expertise of math and physics majors are only required for a small, saturated and relatively less financially rewarding market.

>why is it that comp sci degree holders have better job prospects than math/physics majors
They don't.

It's because we're in another tech bubble. This time it's a mobile app bubble. Once the next recession hits you'll see all the worthless app companies go under.
Useful work > Hard work
Tech companies have safe spaces where you won't be made fun of so you can put all your intellectual power onto your work.
Just because you studied physics doesn't mean you are not a brainlet. There are exceptions, but they don't waste their life on /sci/.
>>8690913
for physics and math, you just need to be really smart. for engineering and CS, you need to be just smart enough but work hard. the working hard part is a bit more important to employers, basically. you can actually be pretty lazy and still get good grades in physics or math programs if you're smart enough. you can't do that shit in engineering though. you don't have to be that smart, but you WILL work hard if you want that engineering degree.

Exergy = useful work

>He doesn't know Applied Math
Physics degrees are for actual research and to contribute to the advancement of Physics itself, they have a dream that would become true if they get a PhD.
But dunno about Pure Mathfags, just like >>8690925 said, there is nothing much you can do with that kind of degree, unless you specialize on real CS, not your "muh Apps" shit.
I really don't know what the Pure Mathfags of /sci/ are thinking, but I hope they got some extra courses in Applied Math, Stats or at least CS that they hate that much so they can actually eat something and don't ask welfare.
At best, you can become a Professor but there is nothing much you would do, since Physics PhDs actually do something just like Engineers but purely research based.

More likely it's that engineers and computer scientists almost exclusively enter the free economy and are specifically trained for that by being taught the direct application of math while physicists and mathematicians are taught in a more abstract way and are more likely to enter academia which is paid worse (at least in Germany).

Am CS, and this is true. Takes a a lot of effort to learn but once you do it's relatively ez to do what's required of you.
>>8691476
He was talking about Engineering you brainlet, also
>Takes a a lot of effort to learn
Am CS can deconfirm

>implying engineers are not paid peanuts in Deutschland
Typical Germans, thinks he knows better than less Aryan races.
