I saw this and I just HAD to share it with my pals on /sci/.
Has anyone else heard of these "truth table" things before? This shit is blowing my mind!

U racists
oh, it's what you learn the first lecture in the first 20 minutes of discrete math, that everybody takes their first semester.
fuck off

Barely anyone takes discrete math.
I love how math / physics students erect this strawman of "CS student think they are doing real hard math! lolol"
we don't think that. most CS students are shocked at how easy discrete math and linear algebra is. but also, most CS students just want to develop software

>most CS students are shocked at how easy discrete math and linear algebra is.
That's optimistic. I'm a computer science student and most of my discrete math classmates had no fucking idea what was going on. Didn't help that the professor was shit, though.
People need to see this. Every mathematician should check at least one or two truth tables when they are learning the foundations of proofs and proof techniques.

Also would like to mention:
saw this years ago when I was in high school while I was on my breadboard+circuits circlejerk. Even now in Maths it's extremely useful.
If this isn't a meme, I'm really suprised you guys find this to be news...

literally every engineer takes (or at least should take) discrete math

It is (HOPEFULLY) part of everyones first week if they study mathematics / CS / Physics.
It is quite useless except for some foundational things and to get a generall grasp on the basics of logic and proofs.

You're welcome for those.
