Is it possible to find the volume of a fourth dimensional shape like a hypercube
>>

Volume doesn't make sense for 4D
(What is the area of a cube?)

But there is an extension of the usual length, area and volume into higher dimensions. Study measures.
>>
length times width times height times the other thing
>>
V=l^3 for a cube so V=l^4 for a hypercube

Find the area of one side and multiply it by 6.

That is the surface area.

Wouldn't volume for a 4d shape be similar to what surface area is for a 3d shape?

That would be surface volume, or something.

The surface area of a cube is not the area of a cube. Area doesn't make sense for cubes. To put it in simple enough terms, one of the "axioms" of area is that if you have a body and you break it down into triangles then the area of that body is the sum of the area of the triangles.

This works very well for squares, which you can chop up into 2 triangles.

In fact, any 2D shape you can chop up into triangles.

But 3D shapes? There are infinitely many triangles you could define, and each triangle will have some constant as its area. So what is the area of a cube? Well, by this logic it is infinity. But that is obviously not well defined and is not very meaningful, so we don't even talk about the "area" of 3D shapes.

Surface area is different. You limit what parts of the cube can be chopped up into triangles to find the area. In the case of a cube, you limit yourself to only 6 faces, which allows you to get a finite quantity.

4d objects have 4d hypervolume 3d volume 2d surface and 1d length

5d objects have 5d hypervolume and all of th 4d 3d 2d 1d "volumes" and so on

there are formulas on the internet

exactly.

Surface volume is not the same as volume of the hypercube you silly goose.
