Computer Science or Physics, which contributes more to humanity at this moment?
Please respond, this is important to my life decision.

Neither is an answer to society's problems. However...
CS is much easier since it depends on simple logic.
Physics is about as accurate as psychology, but at least some therapists help people by talk treatment whereas sci guys and gals rarely contribute to society.

How do you wanna help?

Neither, it's Business Science that contributes the most.

I want to be a scientist

I think the only way to society's problems is to increase material level, which can only be done with mentioned subjects.
If we really managed to develop artificial intelligence human life will be forever changed, but to do that we need physics to build the framework for the computers.

>I want to be a scientist
Who is a cutie? ^-^
You are :D
Lol but in the serious business end....
Physics will help on the physical plane.
You will need an understanding of both however if you want to pull off some stunts...

okay
engineering

Can confirm. Did biomedical eng as undergrad, worked, and have now went back to uni. Doing my PhD on resorpable bone scaffolds. Been a pretty nice deal so far.

take an algorithms class or read taocp and repeat that statement

Right now there's not much physics left to discover. Right now, you will have an easier time doing CS, and having a stable job for life earning a graduate salary. Right now, if you train as a physicist and then do CS you'd basically get all the jobs.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, no.

Algorithms courses are easy as fuck.

yeah maybe if you're jerking off to Dijkstras or learning sorts
