Hello /sci/
I'm interested in hacking but I don't know where to start
I would appreciate the help

In this game you exploit actual vulnerabilities in software in ways that are very similar to how you would hack real software. The skills you learn there are directly transferable.

Hacking has little to do with math, if you know high school algebra you can potentially be a great programmer. Hacking relies your knowledge of the common implementation of technology in software (or hardware) and how to exploit those implementations.

I am in high school in electronics major so I have a good idea on the hardware and some of the software, I'm taking the highest level of math possible in highschool, I have no problem doing extra work and study things that I will never study in school

exploits and stuff
you're gonna wanna get into internet level shit
sorry I really don't know much about it

Hacking is simply understanding something to be able to repurpose and alter that something for a goal or just randomly. Often the understanding is derived from reverse engineering and experimentation. You can "hack" a social interaction or a non-digital device. You can't really get general hacking skills, maybe a mindset but skills come from working with something to the point that it's functionality and nuances are intuitive. Honestly you can do so-called "hacking" with some basic software, though really that is "cracking".
Here is a pastebin of links used in Lainchain /sec/ hacking generals, you may find them useful:

Just remember that you need to narrow down what exactly you want to do. Do you want to fuck around with video games? Make malware? Become proficient at exploiting flaws in webpages? Learn how botnet to some end? Learn how to exploit the nuances of certain cars and other vehicles, especially their software? These are examples and they are all different things, you don't learn "hacking" then know how to do all of them. Being able to exploit a particular car won't mean you can do so for all cars either, not even from the same company.

First mission: avoid retarded answers like this

Why do you think my answer is retarded? Because I exaggerated ever so slightly?
>>8648578
Because all the knowledge about hacking and security is being written about in the public space. You don't need to go "underground" to learn about it.

I suppose so.
