Hey /sci/ can you guys recommend some good splash-proof glasses or goggles for lab work?
I'm looking for something that won't fog up every minute and there's always a multiple reviews saying the anti-fog measures are bullshit.
Is anti-fog coating and indirect ventilation a meme?
Anti fog coating works but also is a scam. Smear a thin film of dish soap on the inside of the goggles and it does the same thing.

Wouldn't that require frequent replacement?

spit is what you're looking for
preferably your own
only thing that will not fog is a forced air mask.
A chem professor once told me that the little dessicant packets in beef jerky (or whatever) work, if you can stand having them flopping around in your field of view every time you move your head.
I only tried it once, and all it did was make my face smell like teriyaki for the rest of the day, but maybe you'll have better luck.
Depends on what lab work you are doing. Assuming you don't need anything superduty for heavy duty shit, or something with special certifications, I use these for general lab work. Comfortable, cheap, do the job, I haven't had any problems with fogging.
