Does moisturizing make your skin less capable of producing its own oils/moisture? I've read conflicting reports online, so I'm curious if anyone knew for sure.
Do you use moisturizer or lotion? I get the impression that most guys don't, and are still able to maintain perfect skin. Meanwhile, me (also a guy) can't even take a 5 minute shower in lukewarm water without my skin being dry, tight, and broken out.

I think dry skin and broken out skin are kind of unrelated, in fact dry skin should be less likely to break out than moisturized skin

aerobic exercise is the only tonic your skin needs, eat veg is best
Minimal soap as well
moisturizing/cleansers are all bullshit. I know its hard to believe but when you think about it given the numbers of insecure, ignorant people you realize how easy it has been for the chem industry to create a billion dollar industry. I used to work in it. Nobody buys this shit but people who don't understand anything about it.
as for if fucking up your ability to make your own oils/moisture, NO, not permanently, anyway. Unless it causes cancer.
and BTW every time I hear some faggot talk about moisturizer I always ask him how can he moisturize something with an oil, he never has an answer, he knows nothing.
Eat right, aerobic exercise, shower, some soap if at all dirty, change the pillowcase, stop touching your fucking face 2000 times a day, and fucking save your money.

If 5 minute shower with lukewarm water makes your shit break out then stop it faggot
You think humanity evolved alongside 5 minute lukewarm showers?

dumb ass if your skin is dry then your glands will produce more oil than normal to try and combat that which will allow for more acne
oily dry skin is the most problematic skin type
