I consider the modulo of a number given a particular base with which to calculate the modulo.
Keep in mind that the modulus, mathematically speaking, is not actually an operator. It denotes an equivalence class of a series of elements contained in the integers. The number of equivalence classes is exact equal to the natural number which is the base of the modulo
