I am almost certain this board has already been over this, but I'm a bit new to /sci/ and since I see a lot of people on here flexing their IQ I want to know what the common consensus on MENSA is. I took the online test and my results told me I have an excellent chance to past the real one, but I smell bullshit, the actual organization doesn't really seem to be anything but a way to milk money off of the insecure. Thoughts?
So you figured you had to ""'flex'"" your iq back. Ok
Well yes it would seem you are insecure and mensa is your solution. Is it worth it?

it's shit
the people who talk about their iq here are also shit

Shit, you got me.
Let's get one thing straight: if your IQ <1000, you shouldn't be posting here. Triple-digit brainlets get out.

mensa is filled with actual creationists, and people who believe in various shit like astrology and guardian angels.
High IQ people aren't necessarily smart, critical thinking is a learned behavior.
