mfw my brother goes out of his way to buy boxed water that has "no chemicals" cause he's afraid of fluoride but adds ice to his drink from the freezer
lol your brother is an idiot
I keep telling him it's the dosage that determines if it's gonna be toxic or not but he doesn't really listen to reason.
Anyone got any arguments or rebuttals to "fluoride is poison"

He sounds pretty unobservant, but it's true that fluoride ingestion is neither safe nor necessary. There is substantial evidence of possible cumulative health risks, especially for neurological development. It's pretty shocking to me how readily everyone dismisses this. I myself assumed that it was just a crackpot conspiracy theory until I evaluated some research. Plus, most people get cavities between their teeth, which can largely be prevented by flossing.

a lot of so-called "conspiracy bullshit" is actually based in fact.
fluoride is one of them, thimerosal causing motor tics (which are associated with autism) is another.
Not confronting these facts just makes the actually stupid conspiracy crap have more legitimacy.

google how much fluoride is dangerous, and then google how much fluoride is in tap water. Fluoride is good for your teeth, so google that too.

How right you are. The conspiracy theorists are too busy crying "muh illuminati" to actually investigate their claims scientifically, and as a result the rest of us just assume it's all bullshit. It's much more likely that water fluoridation was just a shamefully egregious error, rather than an intentional conspiracy, only now it's too late to admit the mistake.

Dunno, it's just something I've heard, could be completely wrong, go sperg somewhere else

fluoride is supposed to have something like 7 ppm or ppb or 0.7 idk something with 7 and my water only has 6 or 0.6
so it's utterly useless for its supposed purpose which makes me consider /x/'s theories a bit more and it's some magic byproduct
