if space turned out to be quantized, would that mean we should really be using the manhattan distances and setting pi to 4?

lmao
>>8584313
Lol no. If space is quantized it's not like a road network, it's like pixels. That more or less preserves pi.
>>8584313
yes that's exactly what it means.
>>8584327
but is that a macroscopic approximation, or does it apply at the planck scale as well?
if the latter, what shape are these "pixels" (I guess voxels or voxel-frames would be more accurate)
>>8584313
No because No and No because quantized says nothing about dimensions.
>>8584340
I'm asking about a hypothetical retard.
Jeeze, for a bunch of people who pride themselves on being smarter than everyone else you are really goddamn stupid
>>8584313
Even if the universe is quantized you could still define circles as x^2+y^2=c^2 en therefor can get Pi.
However these kinds of circles in this quantized universe don't have the property that if you were to walk from the origin to a point on this circle it always takes the same amount of time.

If you fucked off, would you kill yourself?
