Why is learning a musical instrument or getting good at sports much easier than studying hard to become a genius? I thought repetition increases perfection but for some reason this does not apply to intellectual matters unless one is just trying to pass exams. Why?

because learning a musical instrument or getting good at a sport isnt the same as becoming a genius or master at a sport or instrument?

>wah the intelligence increase capacity fenomena isn't actually real
It is. But brainlets who spend hours a day watching TV, pitying themselves and eating degenerate food are doomed to be unsuccessful for the rest of their lives.

when i saw the blackhole tearing a supernova billions of times stronger than the sun apart i realized how much life is pointless. Then there is hercules borealis which is billions of light years kilometers across.
Life is probably an event that is unlikely to happen, but the sheer fact we cannot even hope to evolve to a level of comprehending the universe or surviving its tricks is somewhat affirming.
Oh by the way, what you use your intelligence for is your business.

ACTUALLY being good at a musical instrument (concert soloist, classical virtuoso) is just as hard as being a genius. Just learning how to play an instrument passively is comparable to the difficulty of maybe passing a few college courses. Dedicating your life to anything will make you good at it, generally speaking.
Sports are kinda dumb though desu, although I'll admit they're very hard if you want them to be.

>Why is learning a musical instrument or getting good at sports much easier than studying hard to become a genius?
That's nonsense.
Grothendieck is Messi level or Paganini.
Can you play football like Messi or the violin like Paganini?
I highly doubt that.
