It's just small-caps. Don't get me wrong, I think small-caps can be beautiful in context when used correctly but by themselves they just look like all-caps which isn't that interesting.

I'm surprised by 5, 6, and 19's use of two-story 'a'. Unfortunately 5 uses a schizophernic mix of cursive and print, 6 looks like a pretentious Algebraist trying to write Fraktur, and 19 has no sense of scale.

I really like the descenders of 2 and am curious to see how they write p's, q's, and other letters.

23 either gave the problem too much thought or not enough thought, ether way they might be onto something.
