I'm currently going to school to be a microbiologist. I'm getting all my science pre-recs in so I can take as many classes as possible. Its going awesomely, but i'm slowly realizing that science is so much writing. I love what I'm doing and I'm not planning on stopping, I just really wanna know if theres some way to make all this fucking writing easier.
TL;DR: I wanna be a scientist, but I hate writing in any form.

There really is no way out of writing papers, especially in natural sciences and math (less so). You either get used to writing or go become a programmer.

Read as many scientific papers as you can. Topics in biology, neurosci and the more scienctific psych. The only way to become a better writer is to read, incorporate it into things like lunch breaks, cardio, riding on public transport. Luckily sci papers are easy to read on mobile due to their formatting.

i included the neuro and psych stuff because that is where the more complex experimental designs come in, and understanding those will make biology papers seem like pre-k work.
Writing isn't that bad.
You should see Lit and English majors. Their writing is fucking atrocious. Middle school level, even.
In comparison, your passive-voiced scientific reports are going to sound like the ten fucking commandments being read to Moses.

ncbi is your friend
OP are you undergrad or grad?
I'm finishing microbio undergrad this spring and just applied to some PhD programs in socal, there really isn't a lot of writing for undergrad
